Manchester United made life difficult again before Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford eliminated West Ham.
Fabulous second-half goals from Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood helped Manchester United rally again to a 3-1 Premier League victory at West Ham.
Having won 3-2 from 2-0 down at Southampton last weekend and also conceding first in a 3-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s men were abject during a first half in which the Tomas Soucek’s first half at 38 minutes was the shortest. West Ham deserved it.
Sebastien Haller and Jarrod Bowen turned down magnificent opportunities on either side of the break, as Solskjaer slipped past Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford in place of Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani.
Fernandes attacked the hitherto ineffective Pogba for a sumptuous 25-yard draw before Greenwood’s exquisite spikes and Rashford took a deflated West Ham.
