West Ham will reportedly attempt to sign Watford defender Craig Dawson on a permanent transfer deal in the coming months.
The 30-year-old center-back has shone in his time with David Moyes’s team this season, and it would be good business for the club to keep him beyond this season.
Football Insider claims that West Ham is ready to work on a permanent deal for Dawson in the coming months, and Hammers fans are hoping they can pull it off.
Watford was relegated from the Premier League last season and may have trouble keeping its best players unless they win promotion to the top flight.
West Ham will hope to be successful in attacking the Hornets for this solid defensive player, who has played a key role in the team battling for a top four spot this season.
The report adds that Dawson was available for just £ 3 million in January, but West Ham forgot to complete a permanent deal at the time.
Their form since then, however, may now have seen them change their minds.
