West Ham United is interested in signing Josh Dasilva from Brentford, according to The Guardian. West Ham is reported to be keeping an eye on the 22-year-old midfielder, but championship club Brentford is not going to sell the youngster cheap.
Dasilva has been on Brentford’s books since the summer of 2018 when he moved to the London club after leaving Arsenal. The England Under-21 international midfielder has made 20 starts and two substitutes in the Bee Championship so far this season, scoring two goals and giving three assists in the process, according to Who scored. During the 2020-21 campaign, the 22-year-old made 36 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Brentford Championship, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in the process, according to Who scored.
Brentford is second in the championship table at the moment with 41 points in 22 games. It is difficult to see the bees selling Dasilva in the middle of the campaign.
