West Ham United is believed to be interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
According to Manchester evening news, the 23-year-old closer is frustrated by lack of playing time at Old Trafford and has no intention of replacing David de Gea next season.
It will be interesting to see if the England goalkeeper decides to go ahead at the end of this season and players like Tottenham and Chelsea are believed to be interested in him as well.
According to the report, the player has a contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2025 and is valued at 40 million pounds.
It remains to be seen if the Hammers are willing to spend that amount of money on a goalie this summer.
There is no doubt that they need to plan a long-term replacement for Lukasz Fabianski and Henderson would be a solid future investment for them.
The 23-year-old proved his quality during his time at Sheffield United and has the potential to become one of the best goalkeepers in the League.
West Ham have been shrewd with transfers since the arrival of David Moyes and Henderson would be another smart move for them.
Some of the West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible arrival of the Manchester United goalkeeper and this is what they had to say.
I would love to see this. We gon ‘need to finish high if we want all these players
