West Bromwich Albion is interested in signing Issa Diop from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the January transfer window, according to The Sun (Print edition, page 65, December 20, 2020). It is reported that the Hammers hope to ditch the central defender when the transfer window opens in January, and that Alladyce wants to secure his services from his former club.
The British tabloid report has claimed that West Ham is open to offers for Diop and is willing to sell him or send him on loan. According to Who scored, the 23-year-old French central defender has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, he made 31 starts and one substitute appearance in the league.
West Ham is in 10th place in the Premier League table at the moment with 21 points from 14 games, while West Brom is currently second from the bottom in the league table with seven points from 14 games.
