By the age of 21, Kingsley Coman had already played for three of the biggest clubs in European football; Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Three years later, Coman finished off the extended 2019/20 campaign with the winning goal in the Champions League final, his 13 silver piece in the Bundesliga Bayern.

The Frenchman has suffered from a number of injury problems throughout his career, yes, but he is widely regarded as one of the most talented wingers of his generation, capable of becoming a benchmark for whoever plays. What scares the rest of the world is that the best of Coman is yet to come, as long as he can stay 100% fit.

At 32, Angel Di Maria is possibly playing the best football of his career.

The Argentine international enjoyed a stellar 2019/20 campaign, achieving a domestic quad with Paris Saint-Germain, the last time the feat will be accomplished after the Coupe de la Ligue retirement, as well as being one game away from being crowned. . a champion of the Champions League for the second time.

Di Maria has rebuilt his career after a rather disappointing time with Manchester United and his trophy cabinet is reaping the rewards.

Serge gnabry

Club: Bayern Munich
Country: Germany

Tony Pulis blah blah blah. Can’t we just appreciate the brilliance of Serge Gnabry?

Since moving to the Bundesliga in 2016, the German has become one of the world’s elite forwards, making the previously overwhelming prospect of Arjen Robben’s departure from the Allianz Arena seem completely painless.

A brilliant 2019/20 campaign that includes the Bundesliga title and the Champions League crown, among other pieces of silver, make the Bayern player a candidate for our finalist list, and they are just rewards for the staggering development of Gnabry.

Club: Atalanta
Country: Slovenia

It would be wrong to suggest that Josip Ilicic is not a benefactor of Atalanta’s enthusiastic approach, but that doesn’t make his production any less impressive.

The 32-year-old has recorded double figures in each of his three full league seasons with Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, with his 15 goals and eight assists helping Atalanta finish just five points behind the pace of the Scudetto winners. , Juventus, last season.

Atalanta also reached the final stages of the 2019/20 Champions League, largely thanks to Ilicic’s continued brilliance.

Club: Manchester City
Country: Algeria

Riyad Mahrez may not be the biggest name in Manchester City’s quality squad, but that doesn’t mean he’s less valuable to his team.

The Algerian international has adapted his game brilliantly since trading Leicester for City, yet while his work ethic has increased, his end product is no less magnificent.

The 29-year-old’s ability to move inward before wrapping his left foot around the ball is something to behold, and he has proven on numerous occasions that he is Pep Guardiola’s man of reference in big games.

Club: Barcelona
Argentina country

Well, as you thought, you would scroll all the way down and you would not see this man’s name.

In years past, it would have been a somewhat foregone conclusion that Lionel Messi would claim the top right-forward spot, but after a relatively disappointing start to the 2020/21 campaign (by ‘relatively’, of course, we’re using his usual brilliance as criterion), could his place as number one be at stake?

Still, it has to be on the short list. 31 goals last season and six career Golden Balls and all that.

Mohamed salah

Club: Liverpool
Country: Egypt

Mohamed Salah suffers a bit when compared to the man who burst onto the scene at Anfield in 2017.

The Egyptian king scored an incredible 32 goals in his first season with Liverpool, so there is almost a feeling that his goals in the next two seasons, 22 and 19 respectively, are weirdly mocked.

His form throughout the 2019/20 campaign was a big part of the Reds clinching their first Premier League crown and will make a few stops in our final standings.

Jadon sancho

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Country: England

Jadon Sancho is fast becoming one of the superstars of world football.

The England man took a leap of faith leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017, and more than 70 goal contributions to the Bundesliga later have proven his worth.

Only Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski accomplished more than Sancho in Germany’s top flight last season, and with 18 appearances for England to their name at just 20 years old, the limits of their potential are unknown.

Bernardo silva

Club: Manchester City
Country: Portugal

Bernardo Silva’s performances this season may not quite he has been at the level we expect from the Portugal international, although it would be unfair to dismiss him due to a rare drop in form.

The Manchester City man’s unlimited supply of energy combined with his quality technical prowess have made him a key component of Pep Guardiola’s squad, with the 26-year-old’s astronomical talent recognized at the aforementioned Ballon d’Or awards at the finish in ninth place.

His trophy cabinet makes a pretty read too, having racked up multiple Carabao Cups, two Premier League crowns, and an FA Cup.

Hakim Ziyech

Club: Morocco
Country: Chelsea

Hakim Ziyech has been showing his undoubted talent for many years in the Eredivisie, scoring 79 league goals and 97 assists in his eight seasons in the Dutch top flight.

The only criticism that could have been leveled at the Moroccan was that he was not tested on the greatest stage, although his form since his summer move to Chelsea has banished such accusations.

The 27-year-old’s left foot wand has already opened up several Premier League defenses, and he is more than worthy of his place.
