Tyrell Robinson, former Arsenal, jailed for child sex offense

According to the Telegraph and Argus of Bradford, Tyrell Robinson has been sentenced to prison for three and a half years as a result of disgusting sex offenses involving children.

The Telegraph and Argus report that Robinson, who received his sentence at Bradford Crown Court, pleaded guilty to a sex offense against a 14-year-old girl.

Robinson admitted to having sexual activity with the teenager in August 2018, while he was hired by Bradford City and fired when the police charged him in February 2020.

The 23-year-old admitted to the charge of sexual activity, as well as the creation and distribution of an indecent image of the 14-year-old, which was shared on Snapchat with Korie Berman.

Robinson is a former Arsenal academy talent, who joined the Gunners at the age of seven before being released in February 2017.

The Sun adds that Robinson invited three 14-year-old schoolgirls to his apartment with the intention of having sex, Tyrell gave the teens vodka before having sex with one.

Robinson’s co-defendant, Berman, of Essex, was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child.

Robinson and Berman were told they would serve half of their sentences (21 months and three years respectively) before being released on leave.

Judge Richard Mansell QC told Robinson that he prioritized his own sexual gratification by entering into a self-care relationship with the girls.
