The NFL Draft is over and teams have landed new quarterbacks. Find out which rookies have the best chance of succeeding in fantasy football this season.
The end of the NFL Draft in April marks the unofficial start to the fantasy football offseason. It is around this time that the die-hards begin their research, making mock drafts and creating their rankings.
In a relatively weaker quarterback class compared to most seasons, there are a few rookie signal callers who could emerge as fantasy-relevant options this season.
Top rookie quarterbacks for fantasy football 2022
5. Malik Willis — Tennessee Titans
Malik Willis has the combination of speed and arm strength that a large part of the league is looking for in quarterbacks now, which is why his fall in the third round was a surprise to many. His fit in Tennessee is interesting, especially because they already have a stable starter who plays a very different game than Willis in Ryan Tannehill.
In terms of football, Willis can come out of this draft class as being the most successful. His skills combined with the Titans’ offensive weapons are a recipe for success. However, he may have to take the ‘Patrick Mahomes route’ to get there. He will likely red-shirt this season, except for unforeseen circumstances.
If these were the dynasty’s rankings, Willis would be close to the top. But for 2022, he may not get much of, if any, influence. But his upside still entitles him to consideration in goalkeeping drafts.
