Tom Brady is on his way back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his father tells why the quarterback decided to drop his retirement.

Well, Tom Brady’s retirement was short-lived, to say the least.

It was also something that dominated headlines and made everyone wonder what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should do as a quarterback. Well, Brady is back to being in the news cycle and the Buccaneers have a quarterback again. Brady is no longer retired. He is set to play football for the Buccaneers this year.

Apparently, Brady may not have been ready to retire in the first place. According to a tweet from Dan Hausle of the WHDH, Brady’s father indicated that the quarterback was not necessarily ready to retire when he did.

While Hausle tweets, Brady’s father said his son was “pressured by outside forces”, which is a rather vague and also ominous way of explaining that the quarterback did not exactly want to retire right there and then.

Tom Brady Retires: Tom Brady’s father tells why the quarterback retired and then returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

As Hausle notes, Brady was apparently supposed to play golf with his father, but the quarterback’s father is “excited” to see him get out on the field again and play football a little more.

It’s not clear how much longer Brady’s career is going to last, and it’s a little shocking to see that it’s been revived. Not to say that Brady, who is without a doubt the best ever to play in the NFL, will not be able to have a good season, but the 45-year-old quarterback defies some sort of convention and father’s time at this point.

But if he was not ready to retire and the “outside forces” are done telling Brady what to do, then let’s enjoy watching the quarterback back on the field.
