Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are not set to meet Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in this year’s version of Capital Ones The Match until June 1st. However, the taste talk has already begun.
The 12-hole exhibition takes place (18:30 ET on TNT) at the Wynn Las Vegas. Brady and Rodgers are veterans of the event, having played in the past year, though not as teammates.
Allen, 25, Buffalo Bills quarterback, is looking to get his first win of any kind against Brady. Allen entered the league in 2018, but never defeated Brady when the latter was with the New England Patriots. Last December, Brady and Tampa Bay defeated the Buccaneers Allen and the Bills.
For now, Brady may also be the better golfer. I have registered as an 8.1 handicap prior to last year’s event. Allen played in the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am in February as a handicap of 9.0.
The two got their jabs on Monday after the pairings were announced, with Allen taking a shot at Brady Brand’s new line of golf equipment, which was announced last week.
. At least he did not put me in @bradybrand clothing 🤢 https://t.co/ZRtxdDMqtO
