The weather at Metlife Stadium for the preseason between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets looks utterly miserable.
Rain games can be all kinds of fun, but the weather at Metlife Stadium ahead of the Eagles and Jets preseason looks nothing but.
Reporters at the stadium posted videos and photos showing how insanely bad it got.
This video looks like another planet with rainwater blowing across the surface of the field in waves.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh was not deterred from his pre-season routines.
It’s dedication right there.
Eagles insider John McMullen also posted a photo of a weather council telling fans to leave the outdoor seating area due to the conditions.
Relationships do not help the Jets or Eagles in their preseason encounter
This will be the third preseason match for both teams. The Jets are undefeated with a win over the Giants and Packers in their first two weeks. The Eagles are in the opposite position with two losses to the Steelers and Patriots. They were shut out of New England last weekend.
It was already unlikely that fans would see appetizers on Friday night. But they may not see any action if the weather does not give up.
Eagles Maven publishes Ed Kracz reported seeing Jets GM Joe Douglas talk to stadium officials with the field looking more and more damaged.
As it is, the only fans who stick to that rain will have proven their diehard status forever.
