Jurgen Klopp has been extremely vocal with his concerns about device congestion and the rest, but looking at this graphic for the Independent, you must keep your mouth shut.
As reported by the BBCKlopp used his pre-game press conference on Friday as a platform to reiterate his concerns about the absence of the five-substitute rule in the Premier League. He hinted that those who pull the strings don’t consider the player’s well-being.
That’s despite the fact that, just a week ago, he said he would stop complaining about match and schedule congestion as he realizes that it won’t make a difference as the Daily mail reported.
While he may be right, if the German keeps saying the same thing over and over again, people will start to tire. His plea is already beginning to fall on deaf ears.
Especially when the Independents have compared Liverpool’s average rest days between matches during the busy holiday period with their Premier League rivals, and on average they have more than half that of Everton and the Manchester pair.
Liverpool have been incredibly unfortunate on the injury front this season, and for that reason we have to sympathize with Klopp, but if you expect an elaborate violin performance, you won’t get it.
Fulham are the only team blessed with days off as favorable as the Premier League champions in the most congested period of the season. What are you complaining about?
