As part of our contest launched on Instagram to elect the most beautiful shoe of the year 2020, the Flash Crimson colorway was elected.
They were 32 at the start, in the end there is only one left and the big winner of the competition for the most beautiful football boot of the year 2020 is the Nike Mercurial Superfly du pack Flash Crimson, the color that would normally have been used for the Olympic Games. After five days of polling and over 120,000 votes on our Instagram account, the pair won the final of this contest against another pair from Mercurial, Jadon Sancho’s signature SE11. After beating the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Future DNA in the round of 16, then the Nike Mercurial Dream Speed 003 of Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo in the round of 16, the Nike Mercurial Korea in the quarterfinals and the Future Future Z in the semifinals, the color of the pack called Flash Crimson therefore won against a new pair of Nike in the grand final which began on December 31. A champion’s course for this model imagined around a white base and which had been designed by Nike to be the color of the Tokyo Olympic Games. Postponed, the competition nevertheless offered us this sublime model which stands out as the most beautiful pair of the year.
However, unlike all the other contenders for victory, this Flash Crimson colorway was not worn by any great ambassador of the American brand when it was released on September 21. Barred by the Daybreak color scheme of the start of the school year then the Mercurial Dream Speed 003 which was presented only a week later, Flash Crimson did not benefit from any great visibility on the ground and therefore only won this title by the purity of its rod white and the integration of a duo of red and turquoise colors of the most beautiful effect. A mixture which seems to have seduced you too and which could therefore have been a real bestseller in case of “normal” use. It remains to be seen what Nike Football will prepare us for the Olympics which should take place in 2021. If the color is up to it, it will be happiness.
