Leeds and Everton target Omar Colley has enlisted the help of a new agent to secure him a Premier League switch, reports from Italy suggest.

Sampdoria’s center-back Collie, 29, has been looked up to by the White in the best part of a year. Toffees recently joined them in the hunt along with Newcastle, which TEAMtalk exclusively unveiled last month.

The considerable admiration from England has clearly not gone unnoticed by the Gambia national player, who has just linked his country to the Africa Cup of Nations.

In fact, Colley is eager to leave Serie A for a fresh start in Prem. It is according to Doria Club 46, who ran a report detailing his switch of agents.

After dropping his affiliation with Cheikh Fall, he has changed representation to Fali Ramadani from LIAN Sports Group.

Their other clients include Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane, Juventus’ Federico Chiesa and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

Collie is said to have made his intentions clear. And it is claimed that the move could happen this month.

In addition to the aforementioned trio of Prem sites, Watford is also mentioned as an interested party.

Their boss Claudio Ranieri knows Colley well after being manager of Sampdoria in his previous job from 2019-2021. The Italian is looking for reliable players for the Hornets’ relegation battle.

However, Collie would have to go through an isolation period after AFCON and could be unavailable for several weeks.

And his Italian owners hope he will stay until the end of the season. He is a solid starter for them.

It was previously implied that they would be open to doing business, with a price tag of £ 8m.

Sampdoria bought him from Belgian side Genk in 2018 for around £ 7m. Before that, Colley spent time in Finland and Sweden after leaving her home country.

Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers will have more than £ 30 million before they would even consider selling star striker Ben Brereton Diaz, TEAMtalk understands.

The 22-year-old has scored 20 league goals and is enjoying the best season of his career. That brand places him only behind Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrović (22) in the battle for the championship gold boot.

Rovers insist they do not want to lose Brereton Diaz – who has six months left on his current deal, although the club also have an opportunity to host him for an extra season.

TEAMtalk understands that several clubs have contacted Rovers, including Leeds. However, they have been quick to reject any interest.
