According to WHAT via France SoccerParis Saint-Germain talent Kays Ruiz-Atil could return to Barcelona this summer, the ace returned to his homeland in 2015 after the Blaugrana faced sanctions from FIFA.
At this point, it’s no wonder a tug of war has emerged between the two clubs on the day they meet in the Champions League, and the giants have recently become fierce rivals.
Negotiations on a new contract for the 18-year-old are reported to have stalled, leaving the talent with the option to leave this summer, in a move that would likely only result in minimal compensation for PSG.
AS adds that Ruiz-Atil himself is considering returning to Barcelona, without the Catalan team scorning the possible renewal of the creative midfielder.
The report also claims that Chelsea and Manchester City are keeping an eye on the ace, with new Blues boss Thomas Tuchel the man who will promote Ruiz-Atil to first-team level during his time at PSG.
Sports world They report old comments by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu to RAC1, in which it was said that Ruiz-Atil “was going to return” whenever possible.
Tuchel turned to talent as part of the team of the day for the Champions League quarter-final tie against Atalanta last season, but Ruiz-Atil never showed up.
The German is clearly a huge fan of Franco-Moroccan talent, as he started Ruiz-Atil in the opener of the new Ligue 1 campaign, before awarding him six additional appearances as a substitute.
Ruiz-Atil has not experienced anywhere near that kind of action with Mauricio Pochettino, the Argentine named him to the squad for his first game in charge and has since shut him out.
Ruiz-Atil’s lack of action of late is also due to PSG seeing many of their injured stars return to action.
The youngster appeared primarily as a central midfielder in PSG youth teams, but Tuchel deployed him further forward and even to the left in his brief breakthrough at the top tier.
