After a crazy start to the new Premier League season, November has provided an element of normalcy.

Manchester United are winning matches again, Aston Villa haven’t beaten anyone 7-2 and teams traditionally at the top of the table are generally proving to be superior to those at the bottom.

In fact, the Premier League is starting to take shape more in line with logical assumptions, save for a few exceptions here and there, and within that some players are beginning to really prosper.

In honor of those who flourished the most this past month, below is our roundup of the November nominees for the GIVEMESPORT fan Player of the Month award.

All stats are courtesy of Who scored or Twenty3 – the November period covers games between November 2 and November 30.

Nominated: Hugo Lloris

Premier League goalkeepers will be delighted to see the top flight scores ease a bit compared to the first weeks of the season, when each match seemed in danger of becoming a multi-goal thriller. It’s gotten a bit easier for the division’s shooting caps and clean sheets have become much more common, especially for our first nominee of November: Tottenham. Hugo Lloris.

Chelsea fans are probably scratching their heads wondering why Edouard Mendy hasn’t made the short list despite making Frank Lampard’s team suddenly look like a virtually waterproof title contender, but finally Lloris ended the month with a record. perfect – ten saves made and three clean sheets as many games, while No.1 Blues returns were slightly marred by their only concession of the season against Sheffield United.

Kasper Schmeichel, Lukasz Fabianski, Illan Meslier and Sam Johnstone deserve mention for their impressive saves, but ultimately Lloris was the least penetrable goalkeeper in the Premier League in November.

Nominated: Aaron Cresswell

November saw the rise of Leicester City’s action-packed center midfielder Wesley Fofana, certainly one to watch at just 19 years old, while Antonee Robinson’s offensive contributions have certainly contributed to making Fulham appear competitive at the Premier level. League and West Brom’s Darnell Furlong topped the charts in both aerial duels won and interceptions.

But Aaron Cresswell West Ham’s form this season has been nothing short of exemplary and after another month that saw him combine strength on defense with impressive contributions on offense, we had no choice but to acknowledge the Irons’ stalwart with a nomination.

Cresswell was part of a baseline that conceded just one goal in three games during the November period, the Hammers scoring maximum points in the process, but also contributing to the advance with five key passes and two shots. In fact, no defender has recorded more key passes than the former Ipswich Town player this season.

Nominees: Bruno Fernandes, Pedro Neto

Jack Grealish continued to revel throughout November, but ultimately became a victim of the period of time we’ve seen, with his display of goals and assists against Southampton within the scope of the past month.

There was no such problem for Bruno fernandes, however, who worked his way up to becoming the most identifiable candidate for the November award, having finished the month with four goals and two assists to his name. The Portuguese is becoming something of a one-man band at Old Trafford and seems to be involved in pretty much every Manchester United goal at the moment.

Meanwhile, we have also given the go-ahead to Wolves Pedro Neto. A suggestion from left field, perhaps, but it is often overlooked that the Portuguese forward is only 20 years old. Despite his youth, November saw Neto score against Southampton and Arsenal in two important games for the Molineux side, while completing four key passes, five shots and five interceptions.

Think of Hakim Ziyech, who has really recovered after being stuck on the sidelines for the early part of his Chelsea career, and West Brom’s Matheus Pereira, who is never far from doing something magical. Keep up the good work and you may as well be on the finalist list for December.

The strikers

Nominees: Diogo Jota, Jamie Vardy

Edinson Cavani has burst onto the scene over the past month with three goals and one assist, including an incredible second-half performance against Southampton that inspired Manchester United’s 3-2 comeback, but something doesn’t feel right about nominating a player who did not. In reality, he didn’t start a single Premier League match last month.

From the city of Leicester Jamie Vardy He has caught our eye, however, having scored twice and assisted twice during November and perhaps most impressively of all he distributed those goal contributions across three different games. Unsurprisingly, he’s been doing well between shots too, averaging three goal attempts per game in November.

Meanwhile we just couldn’t put Liverpool aside Diogo Jota, who is surely the strongest candidate for the signing of the season in the Premier League. November saw him work his socks to help the Reds clinch a vital point at the Etihad, before scoring at Leicester 3-0 with a superb header and tying the tie in Liverpool’s draw with Brighton.
