Every week, our eyes roam the fields around the world in search of the most beautiful pairs of football boots. It’s Monday and it’s time to show you our best finds.
Papu Gomez (Atalanta Bergame)
adidas Predator Precision
Papu Gomez trained in what is undoubtedly THE shoe of the week, taking us back twenty years with an adidas Predator Precision from 2000. And even if it is not the top version, what a model!
Mason Mount (Chelsea)
Nike Phantom GT Scorpion
Nike launched the Nike Phantom GT Scorpion ten days ago, and Mason Mount, alongside Rodrygo Goes, Greenwood, Foden, Camavinga, Tonali … has become one of the faces of this pair behind the remake of the tournament “The Secret Tournament” put up by Nike football on his Instagram account.
Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea)
adidas f50 adizero
In training with Chelsea to prepare for the Champions League match against Rennes, Callum Hudson-Odoi gave us a glimpse of a rather strange pair seeming to combine the past and the present. You will no doubt have recognized the design of the adidas f50 from 2010, but that sole… what if adidas imagined a Future DNA pack like Nike earlier this year.
Jack Clarke (Tottenham)
adidas f50 adizero
An episode of the shoes of the week would not be complete without a pair of adidas f50s and this week it is the young player from Tottenham who gives us a preview with this model from 2011.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)
Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII Nike By You
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the last Nike player to use his sponsor’s customization platform Nike By You with a personalization of his Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII in Arsenal colors.
James Maddison (Leicester)
Puma Future 6.1 BALR.
It didn’t take long for James Maddison to make his new shoe shine. The Englishman scored in his first game, winning 4-0 against Braga, with the Puma Future 6.1 produced in collaboration with Balr.
João Felix (Atletico de Madrid)
adidas Copa next-gen
After Paulo Dybala, João Felix is the second player to be seen on the pitch with the new generation of adidas Copa, giving us a nice overview of the shoe and its textured leather. It remains to be seen when the pair will be officially released.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)
In great shape with Everton since the start of the season, Calvert-Lewin also caught our eye with his mysterious hidden studs. A pair that looks a bit like the one we saw in Raheem Sterling’s feet against OM and which would be a New Balance. The American brand is preparing great things right now!
Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea)
adidas Copa next-gen
Chelsea were “the place to be” last week to watch the players’ cleats. After Mount and Hudson-Odoi, Azpilicueta gave us the first glimpse of the new generation adidas Copa in its lace-up version.
Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII NJR Speed Freak
No need to represent it to you, Wilfried Zaha is an unconditional fan of the Nike Mercurial and took advantage of the last match before the international break to have fun by putting on the Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII Speed Freak by Neymar Junior unveiled in August 2019.
Marlon Xavier & Flavio Medeiros (Trabzonspor)
adidas f50 adizero & Nike CTR 360
The perfect photo! The vintage cleats were released in Turkey where a Nike CTR 360 and an adidas f50 adizero found themselves on the pitch at the same time during a training session of Trabzonspor. And no, it’s not a 2014 photo.
