There was a lot of fuss at the end of the transfer window when Man United signed Edinson Cavani, but it’s starting to look like a masterstroke.

His ability was never in doubt, but it seems United fans were upset that he was a cheaper option in the short term, although he has clearly improved the team, so it seems like a wise choice for the club to bring him in.

He’s getting a lot of praise for his movement and his desire to attack the ball around the box, while it also seems like players from other clubs could learn a thing or two from him.

Our colleagues from Chelsea News She recently interviewed one of her former stars David Speedie and the topic of Tammy Abraham came up, specifically with her on-air prowess.

Speedie was quick to compliment Cavani as a forward he admired for his move, and suggested that Abraham should be looking to learn a few things by watching him:

“What I don’t see sometimes is that players break their guts to get into the area. I saw the other day that Cavani came into Manchester United. Now if you look at that guy, take a page out of his book. “

“As soon as that foot is pulled back, he’s on his bike and he breaks his stomach because he’s desperate to score. If you are more desperate to score, you will go in more and score more goals. Looking at our players, I don’t think they are breaking their guts to go in and score ”.

Cavani may not be perfect and has come under fire in the past for needing multiple chances to score, but there is no question that his move is among the best.

Abraham is still struggling to be considered a regular starting option for Chelsea, so if he can add an extra edge to his game where he can find additional space in the area, that could take him to the next level as well.
