RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of Dominik Szoboszlai from sister club Salzburg on a four and a half year contract.
The 20-year-old had intended to leave Salzburg after his exploits for the Austrian champion, with Napoli, Milan, Inter, Lazio and Arsenal all tied in with a move for the Hungarian international.
However, he has chosen to join Bundesliga Leipzig and will be available for his game against Borussia Dortmund after the mid-season break on January 9.
Szoboszlai has impressed for Salzburg this season, scoring four goals and setting up another six in 11 league appearances.

Szoboszlai, who has also scored three goals in 12 appearances for his country, told Leipzig’s official website: “I am very happy that this transfer has been completed. The club has developed fantastically.
“They are among the best teams in the Bundesliga and they are also doing well in the Champions League.
“This step is perfect for my development. I come to Leipzig to work with a first-rate coach and an extremely ambitious team who are very young but also very experienced and have been able to celebrate success.
“Here, I will be able to continue my development incredibly and I want to help the club continue its success in 2021.”
Szoboszlai becomes the latest in a long line of talents to make the switch between the two Red Bull-owned clubs.
