Southampton midfielder Stuart Armstrong has suggested that he expects a completely “different” challenge today against Leeds United.
The Saints travel to Elland Road to face Leeds, who are out of shape at the moment, having lost three of their last four Premier League games.
Armstrong suggests that Leeds is an “energetic team” offering a “different flair” to most teams in the league.
🗣 “That will offer us a completely different challenge”

Leeds are going through a slump in their form after losing back-to-back games to Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Marcelo Bielsa’s team has a chance to get back on the winning track against the Saints, who are also struggling in the league.
Southampton have only managed one win in their last seven games in all competitions. They have not won in their last seven Premier League games, and both sides will be determined to get their season back on track.
Leeds will not have their talismanic midfielder Kalvin Phillips and it will be interesting to see how Pascal Struijk or Jamie Shackleton, whoever plays in that position, keep Southampton midfielders at bay.
Looking ahead to the game, Marcelo Bielsa has hinted that Diego Llorente can also play in that role. Also read Leeds’ planned starting lineup for this game.
