All-time hater Skip Bayless is furious at the NFL for giving Aaron Rodgers MVP honors over the now retired Tom Brady. Was the league wrong?
To put it briefly, no.
NFL Honors is voted on by 50 Associated Press writers, who cover the league extensively. Odds are that they know more about the NFL than many of the players themselves, and certainly more than Bayless.
Ships, to no one’s shock, will only arouse controversy. Tea Undisputed the host fired a spicy take right after Rodgers’ speech, in which No. 12 thanked many of his idols, including the man who drafted him (Ted Thompson). Bayless did not care for any of that. The price was apparently Brady to lose.
There are no cherrypicked statistics to support Bayless’ claim here. He’s just trying to get you to watch his show on Friday when viewers lose Sesame Street we have regular basis.
Spring Bayless over: Aaron Rodgers did not deserve MVP
If there was an award for this year’s hater, Bayless’ name would be close to the top every time. His consistency and devotion to hating some of the best athletes we’ve ever seen is astounding.
Look no further than his hatred of LeBron James. How many years have passed? 20? Bayless wants to take his LBJ hatred to the grave, and unfortunately it is reasons like these that make him so worth seeing. Or at least it did before taking his platform to FS1.
Bayless is a walking meme and no more. I’m not a Green Bay Packers fan, and I’m certainly not a Rodgers apologist, but the numbers speak for themselves.
4,115 yards. 37 touchdowns. 4 interceptions. 69.2 QBR.
