Scott Parker insisted that Fulham could have a great escape after they managed a surprise 2-0 win at Everton.
Fulham He had never won at Goodison Park in a league game before, but he finally got a win to savor thanks to two goals from the January loan-out Josh Maja.
The result leaves Fulham seven points from safety with 15 games to play. The gap may seem large these days, but if they can produce performances like that more regularly, they have plenty of time to ask questions of the teams above them.
Fulham were 12 games without a win in the league before facing Everton. However, Parker was confident his team was making improvements, and that materialized at Goodison.
He said BBC Sport: “It has been coming, sure. The difference is that we win the game by putting the ball in the net.
“People may be seeing it change, but for the most part in the last 15 games we have been consistent. We were brilliant, superb in everything we did in defense and attack. I don’t think we deserve anything less to be honest.
Today (goals) has been the difference. I constantly tell this team that you can’t keep creating chances and that’s a good marker to keep believing. We’ve been on the wrong side of the fine margins, but in and around the six-yard area we’ve spotted opportunities and gotten a great win.
Hopefully (the great escape can happen). This is how we do our work. We have been drawing too many games and we need to win them. Now we are going to two massive games and the rest of the season. “

Parker has ‘full faith’ in Fulham
Parker continued: “I have full faith in this team, honestly.
“People judge performances based on wins and losses, I have a different vision because I see it every day and I have to be more rational looking at my team. It gives me constant faith.
“I know what we have to do and the players too. We cannot control what surrounds us, we just have to go out and win soccer games. If we do that, I know it will be fine.
“They said that our record here was not very good, but it is irrelevant to me and I am happy to get the victory.”
