As reported by Sky Sports, the representatives of Antonio Rudiger have entered into discussions with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus about a potential free transfer to the defender when his contract with Chelsea expires this summer.
Rudiger spoke on the subject of his future several times over the last few months and always insisted that there were no talks with any club other than Chelsea. But with the turn of the year, the freedom came to talk to clubs outside England where Chelsea could do nothing about it and it looks like the player and his representatives took the chance right away.
All four mentioned clubs need a reliable central defender, which the 29-year-old German national team player certainly is. All Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel can hope for at this point is that the situation will not affect his performance for the remainder of the season. They definitely need him to be focused, with all four trophies still to play for.
