Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the race to sign Eduardo Camavinga

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are among the leading clubs in the race to sign Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes this summer. Reports Florian Plettenberg from Sport1.

The Frenchman is considered one of the best young central midfielders in Europe and was on the radar Los Blancos at the end of last season.

However, an agreement was never reached with Rennes. make it clear that they would like to retain the teenager for at least another campaign.

Meanwhile, Casemiro has been an indisputable choice at the midfielder role and Camavinga can also offer strong competition to the Brazilian.

Camavinga’s current deal in Rennes expires in less than 17 months, and Rennes is reportedly seeking more than € 35 million this summer.

Los Blancos are long-time admirers of the player and so it’s no wonder they’re in the mix to get his signature.

They still need to act fast to reach a transfer deal, considering their rivals Bayern are pretty good at doing their business early.
