So … nobody really wants to win the Premier League title?

The last few weeks of play have been about the biggest teams losing points, fueling the argument that this could be the strangest season in the competition’s history.

However, the real question is, will the 14th round of matches follow the same format? Well to answer that, here it is 90minPreview and predictions before some tasty looking matchups.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

What time does it start? 12:30 (GMT)
Where do you play? Selhurst Park

Ah, a good trip to Selhurst Park. Liverpool have never had a problem with Crystal Palace, have they?

The Eagles were the last team to beat Liverpool in a Premier League match at Anfield in 2017, and their 3-3 draw with the Reds in 2014 (affectionately known as’Crystanbul‘) is still spoken to this day. Liverpool’s struggles with the Palace are well known.

Logic suggests that defending champions Jurgen Klopp will beat the team currently sitting in 12th place, but Palace has shown enough in recent weeks to show they need to be taken seriously.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool

Southampton vs Manchester City

Chances are high that this will be the best match of the weekend.

Southampton are one of the most entertaining teams in the Premier League these days, and the fact that you never know if Manchester City is going to be good or literally horrible makes viewing fascinating.

City came to this after two consecutive draws, and could be on the verge of making three.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Manchester City

Everton vs Arsenal

What time does it start? 17:30 (GMT)
Where do you play? Goodison park

Everton are finally back in shape, and that sounds like bad news for an Arsenal team whose idea of breaking a losing streak is a home draw with Southampton.

Wins over Chelsea and Leicester City in their last two games have restored Everton as outside contenders for the Premier League title, a position Mikel Arteta would kill for. Arsenal are in 15th place and could end the weekend in a worse place.

The Gunners are a good team at heart (very deep down) and are capable of performing together at any time, but it would take a brave fan to claim that much-needed change will begin at Goodison Park.

Prediction: Everton 2-0 Arsenal

Newcastle United vs Fulham

What time does it start? 20:00 (GMT)
Where do you play? St James Park
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

For neutral fans, this game could be terribly boring or one of those surprisingly exciting affairs.

Steve Bruce’s Newcastle have scored twice in each of their last three games, but it never seems to be far from a performance that makes you question whether they have enough to survive in the Premier League.

However, no team has recently epitomized inconsistency quite like Fulham, who may have overtaken Liverpool last weekend and then failed to beat Brighton midweek. It is one of those that could go in any direction.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Fulham

Brighton vs Sheffield United

What time does it start? 12:00 (GMT)
Where do you play? AMEX Stadium
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

’16th vs 20th’ doesn’t exactly sound like fun, but this is one of those games that could steal the show this weekend.

Both Brighton and Sheffield United play fun football at times, but you only need to look at the league table to see how it’s doing for them. At least Brighton is scoring points, but Chris Wilder’s side seems lost at sea.

It’s the kind of game Sheffield United needs to win, but it’s hard to see that happen.

Prediction: Brighton 1-0 Sheffield United

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City

What time does it start? 14:15 (GMT)
Where do you play? Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

This weekend’s top-four clash will see José Mourinho’s Tottenham host Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City.

Spurs’ 11-game undefeated streak came to an end at the hands of Liverpool last time, and who knows if they’ll be able to restart it against Leicester? This is a team that has yet to draw in the league this year – eight wins and five losses show just how inconsistent they have been.

Mourinho’s team will enter this as a narrow favorite, and there are reasons to suggest that they will walk away with all three points here.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Leicester City

Manchester United vs Leeds United

What time does it start? 16:30 (GMT)
Where do you play? Old trafford
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

A historic rivalry will be rekindled on Sunday when Leeds United travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

The two sides haven’t met in the last nine years and haven’t met in the Premier League since 2004, but don’t let that fool you. Both teams will be absolutely desperate to win here, and both will be optimistic about their chances.

Leeds’ attack-first mentality will cause real problems for United, but will also leave them vulnerable to United’s counterattack. It is difficult to predict a result, but surely there will be many goals in this one.

Prediction: Manchester United 3-2 Leeds United

West Bromwich Albion vs Aston Villa

What time does it start? 19:15 (GMT)
Where do you play? Thorns
TV channel / Live broadcast? BT sport 1

Big Sam is back.

West Brom made the controversial decision to fire Slaven Bilic after what was probably the team’s best performance of the season, and it will be interesting to see how the Baggies will react.

Villa is not as scary as it was earlier in the season, but there is still an awareness that Dean Smith’s side could change the style at any moment. They will want a win against their West Midlands rival, and they have the talent to do it.

Prediction: West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Aston Villa

Burnley vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

What time does it start? 17:30 (GMT)
Where do you play? Turf Moor
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

Neither Burnley nor Wolves have a rich scoring history this season, and if that doesn’t whet the appetite for this match, I don’t know what will.

However, after struggling to find their attacking identity following Raúl Jiménez’s nasty head injury, the Lobos pushed the switch against Chelsea and often played outstanding football. Hopefully, Daniel Podence’s momentum will carry over to this one.

Can Burnley stop him? They are definitely going to sit down and give it a go, as evidenced by the fact that they have kept five clean sheets and scored just six goals. But in that time, they also sent 18 goals, which is a recipe for possible disaster.

Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Chelsea vs West Ham United

What time does it start? 20:00 (GMT)
Where do you play? stamford bridge
TV channel / Live broadcast? Sky Sports Main Event

Matchday 14 will end with a good London derby between Chelsea and West Ham, also known as the Declan Rice derby.

Chelsea looks like the favorite on paper, but their disappointing recent results, coupled with a massive improvement from West Ham, mean this game should be as open as possible.

The Hammers defend well and attack with real intent, but will they be able to outmaneuver Frank Lampard? It is too difficult to call.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-2 West Ham United
