The Postmen have signed seven players to reinforce the squad after a poor start in the top flight in Kenya
Soccer The Kenyan Federation Premier League team, Posta Rangers, have released six players as they continue to rebuild for the season.
The Nairobi-based team has struggled for top tier victories in Kenya in the current campaign, and new coach Stanley Okumbi is taking down players he feels are disappointing.
Those who have been shown the door by the postmen are Collins Okumu, Salim Odeka, Bill Oporia, Raphael Asudi, Elijah Mwanzia and Yusuf Juma.
“The coach felt that the released players would not give him the results he wants, and we had to let them go,” said a senior club source. Aim Monday.

The postmen also signed midfielder Bernard Ondiek from Gor Mahia a couple of days ago.
The veteran player struggled to get into the K’Ogalo first team and opted to try his luck elsewhere. The postmen seized the opportunity and brought him on board.
Other newcomers to the team include Talanta FC’s Evans Makari Maliachi, Wazito FC’s Joshua Otieno Nyatini and Biashara Mara United’s Ambrose Awio Ayoyi.
The Rangers have struggled to win games at the top tier this season and it’s something they tried to solve by bringing Okumbi and the other new signings on board.
However, the tactician began his reign with a 4-1 loss to Tusker FC a couple of days ago. Jackson Macharia, Henry Meja and Luke Namanda all scored for the 11-time league champions, while the postmen’s goal was scored by Ezekiel Okare.
The Postmen have only won one victory out of the 12 matches they have played in the FKF-Premier League, drawing seven and losing four. They have also scored eight goals and conceded 15, putting them on a negative seven goal difference.
