Birmingham midfielder David Davis has left the club after six and a half years at St Andrew’s.
The 29-year-old came from Wolves in 2014 and went on to make 194 appearances with the Blues. He scored 11 goals during his time at St Andrew’s.
Davis He was named the 2016-17 Birmingham Players and Fans Player of the Season.
However, it has lost popularity in recent times. After spending time on loan at Charlton last season, Davis has yet to appear this season.
Paying tribute to Davis, a statement on Blues website thanked the player for his service.
Embodying all that it means to don the royal blue jersey, his attitude and application were second to none. He had the ability to inspire achievement to everyone who had the opportunity to play alongside him.
