The war of words between Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola and Manchester United has already begun.

During Monday, Raiola appeared to drip feed to certain outlets the news that his client’s time at the Red Devils was certainly coming to an end.

While recovering from that news, Tuttosport, quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano, through his Twitter account, saw the agent further raise the bet by stating that the player had no intention of extending his contract.

It’s a tried and tested tactic by Raiola, and one that clearly gets under the skin of the clubs.

Given that France’s World Cup winner has been far from his best in recent seasons, it is debatable whether the Red Devils will finally say goodbye to the midfielder.

The question now must be how fast they show you the Old Trafford gate.

If there is a genuine intention on Pogba’s part not to renew, then United must dispose of the player as soon as possible, and at least recoup some of the exorbitant fee they paid for him in the first place.
