Besiktas are approaching an agreement with Barcelona for the loan of midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
When Pjanic joined Barcelona from Juventus, he was considered among the best midfielders on the planet.
Unfortunately for all parties involved, the Bosnian was unable to put on his best performances in the Barcelona jersey.
Over time, he became just another high-paying player and contributed very little to the cause.
Barcelona now seem willing to get rid of him, at least temporarily.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who is still at it even with the window closed, Pjanic is going to Besiktas.
Besiktas and Barcelona are in advanced talks for Miralem Pjanic. The deal is now closed between clubs – ongoing negotiations on personal / salary terms for a possible loan. Besiktas is trying and pushing. ????? #Besiktas #FCB #transfers

It’s not done yet, but it doesn’t look like it’s very far. It seems that this agreement is ready to be finalized.
Besiktas will find himself a classy midfielder for the season, while presumably helping Barça pay his salary as well.
That will further ease the financial burden on Joan Laporta, which can only be seen as good news from Barca’s perspective.
