Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was voted No. 1 on the NFL Top 100 playlist for the first time in his career.

Patrick Mahomes is trying to be GEDEN. For now, he can take courage to be the best player in the NFL that his teammates voted for.

The NFL Top 100 playlist reached its conclusion on Saturday with the unveiling of the Top 10 players in football entering the 2021. Season. The players voted Mahomes No. 1.

“It’s really cool because it’s voted by a lot of your peers, the guys you play against and play with,” Mahomes said. “So for these guys to vote for me to be the No. 1 player, it’s definitely an honor.”

NFL players agree that Patrick Mahomes is the best in the league

Mahomes beat No. 2 Aaron Donald for that honor, while Aaron Rodgers took an even bigger leap up to No. 3 after ranking No. 16 in 2020. Derrick Henry and Travis Kelce rounded out the Top 5.

Last year, Mahomes was No. 4 behind Lamar Jackson, Russell Wilson and Donald in that order. He took the big step this year thanks to his consistent high-level play. While leading the Chiefs to their second straight Super Bowl appearance, Mahomes completed a career-best 66.3 percent of his passes with 4,740 yards and 38 touchdowns.

It’s never easy to be at the top of the hill where everyone is shooting after you. Mahomes will face tremendous pressure as he tries to bring his team back to the Super Bowl for the third time. Winning this time and dealing with last year’s disappointment is priority # 1.

Of course, there are several individual prices to look for. Mahomes was the league’s MVP in 2018. He will be the frontrunner this year with plenty of competition, also fighting for the crown at the end of the season.
