Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson wants nothing to do with Baker Mayfield

Despite being a popular choice as a potential landing spot for Baker Mayfield, Panthers wideout Robby Anderson will have nothing to do with QB.

Despite Ian Rapoport proclaiming that the Panthers could be the top potential landing spot for Mayfield, one of the best weapons Carolina will have to offer has nothing to do with the previous No. 1 pick.

Carolina is expected to be the first team to pick a quarterback in the April NFL Draft. They have the sixth choice for a reason, and Sam Darnold is not the answer. Carolina has a few trading opportunities if they choose to pass on people like Malik Willis and Kenny Pickett, such as Mayfield and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Anderson, however, would rather steer them completely away from Mayfield. CBS listed the stock exchange in its entirety:

“Panthers.way on Instagram posted Rapoport’s lean, and Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson commented” No. That was not all, when the same Instagram account posted another photo that said Anderson does not want Mayfield coming to Carolina. Anderson commented again, saying, “Facts.”

Panthers: Robby Anderson vs. Baker Mayfield trade

Anderson has little to worry about as the Panthers are not expected to trade for Mayfield, according to ESPN’s David Newton.

Instead of swapping for another midfield quarterback, Carolina would be better off drawing their own superstar in the process.

Right now, that seems to be the plan.
