Dr. Erkut Sogut has stated that the 32-year-old is ready to fulfill his contract at Emirates Stadium despite interest elsewhere.
Mesut Ozil’s agent Dr. Erkut Sogut has insisted that the German midfielder has received offers from around the world, but maintains that the 32-year-old will fulfill his contract with the Gunners.
The former Real Madrid player has not played for North Londoners since March 2020 and was left out of Mikel Arteta’s team for both the Premier League and the Europa League.
The Spaniard has since suggested that Ozil could return to the fold in February, when adjustments can be made to his original 25-man selection after the January transfer window closes.
Ozil will be able to hold talks with foreign clubs about a possible move in the New Year, and the midfielder’s contract expires in the summer of 2021.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce have been strongly linked to a change and, while Dr. Sogut confirmed that preliminary discussions had taken place, he insisted that a change is unlikely in January.
Ozil’s representative said Fanatic: “Mesut has another six months on his contract with Arsenal. He has certainly missed football. He is currently working hard to put the Arsenal shirt back on, and will continue to work.”
“I would like to clearly state our situation regarding Fenerbahce. Yes, we met with them. We had a face-to-face conversation with the best people in the club. However, we cannot have official transfer talks before January. We received transfer offers. for Mesut from all over the world The interest of Fenerbahce is also known.
“Nothing has changed for Mesut at the moment. Under these circumstances, it seems Mesut will complete the season at Arsenal.”

Ozil has been called upon to rejoin the first team squad at Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal have started the 2020-21 campaign in a terrible way.
The Gunners are 15th in the Premier League table and have only scored 11 goals, while their 1-1 draw with Southampton last time continued a miserable streak of six league games without a win.
Ozil, meanwhile, has given frequent hints on social media that he remains committed to Arsenal’s cause despite being frozen at the club, and his latest post promised not to give up “no matter how dark it may seem.”
