It seems we’ve been here before with Olivier Giroud, but will he have a different result this time?
The European Championship will probably be his last major international tournament, so he needs to play regular soccer to keep his space on the team.
He could barely see Chelsea until a few weeks ago, so a January outing seemed inevitable, but then he started scoring goals again.
Something similar happened last year, where he was suddenly brought out of the cold to return to playing a regular role at the wing, but the forward may also have concerns of losing his place again.

A report from objective has indicated that a move is still possible in January, but Giroud will have to force that move by making it clear that he wants to leave.
He’s a risk either way because there’s no guarantee that he’s a regular starter if he leaves, so it could come down to what Frank Lampard is telling him behind the scenes.
He’s clearly been impressed by Giroud in recent games and it’s easy to see why, while the other attacking options at the club have struggled to show consistency this season.
It won’t be a surprise if you stick around, but there will likely be a lot of speculation when the transfer window opens.
