The news that Norwich City wants between £ 30m and £ 35m for Max Aarons could kill his hopes of joining a big club this summer.
According to Sky sports, Canarias has informed Bayern Munich through an intermediary how much it will cost them to secure the services of the 21-year-old.
Bayern have been monitoring Aarons for the past few years, while Manchester United are also following his progress.
Aarons made his senior debut with Norwich in 2018 and has established himself as an integral part of their first team.
He came close to joining Barcelona during the transfer window last summer, but the two clubs were unable to reach an agreement.
Bayern and Man Utd are among a host of clubs that have been credited with an interest in Aarons, while Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the winger.
Norwich’s strong lawsuits are likely to put off most of Aarons’ suitors, especially since there are so many better value options available.
Bayern tend to be quite cautious in the transfer market and are unlikely to shell out £ 35m on a championship side.
United will likely look elsewhere as well as they strive to find someone who can compete with starting right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
