As summer approaches and a few months before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Nike has unveiled 4 new colors for its flagship models: Mercurial, Hypervernom, CTR360 and Tiempo Original.
Nike Mercurial Vapor IX
Nike transformed its Mercurial Vapor by giving the colors of Brazil: yellow and green. This shoe is simply a tribute to Ronaldo’s pair of shoes at the 2006 World Cup. In this edition, Ronaldo had scored 3 goals and became the all-time top scorer in the World Cup with 15 goals.
Note that this shoe was the first to use carbon fiber at the heel.
Nike Hypervernom Hero
The Nike Hypervernom has also seen a color change. The last of the Nike line will be yellow, one of the dominant colors of Brazil.
Nike CTR360 Rouge
With the release of this new colorway for the Nike CTR360, we learned that the line was going to stop at Nike. Red is therefore the latest model of the CTR360.
Nike Tiempo Original
Finally, the Nike Tiempo has a similar color as the Nike CTR360. The difference is that the inside of the shoe is white. This new color still looks a lot like the last model released with great fanfare: the orange and white Nike Tiempo Legend V.
These new models have already arrived on French land. For example, during the PSG – Saint-Etienne, the 4 models were out. We find 3 models in this photo with Ibrahimovic and his Mercurial Vapor, Trémoulinas (Nike Tiempo Original) and Yohan Cabaye (Nike CTR360):
