Newcastle United fell to their 10th Premier League defeat in 14 games at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford last night, and are now at risk of relegation with Fulham breathing down their necks.
The Magpies lost just four of their first 11 league games this season, but things have gone south and fans are now calling on boss boss Steve Bruce with a drop to the Championship looming.
Newcastle owner and president Mike Ashley doesn’t seem to bother, and the businessman isn’t really thinking about the St James’ Park team at the moment.
According to Luke Edwards of The Telegraph, the club is not considering a change to the bench at this time and Ashley remains uninterrupted regarding decision-making at SJP.
Newcastle isn’t high on their list of business priorities right now, and that reveal has riled up fans.
Selling the club is still a priority for the Magpies owner, and he just wants to get out as soon as possible.
The decline could wipe out more than 50% of Newcastle’s market value, and Ashley has to act fast if she still wants to get £ 300 million from the club’s sale after the end of this season.
Keeping Bruce in charge could prove detrimental to the Magpies’ chances of staying awake, as his methods clearly don’t work, and Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing that Ashley is not yet looking to show him the way out. .
Genuine question Luke, where is Charnley? It seems to be missing. Has there been any commitment to him?

However, I’m curious what the decision-making process is here. I’m * assuming * that Charnley has no delegated authority to make such a decision without Ashley’s approval.

The club has ALWAYS been low on their priority list #NUFC

Why doesn’t the championship surprise me here we go?

Will the club stay with Bruce in Luke’s championship? (I just have to accept our fate, unfortunately, so there’s no need to pretend we have a future in the PL)
It seems like you could ask Ashley about Newcastle United and he would reply “What is a Newcastle United?”

So who in the club is making the footballing decisions?

With 13 games to go and some tough matches on their hands, every point lost going forward could prove very costly, and it will be interesting to see where Newcastle plays next season.
Not many fans will be surprised if that’s not in the Premier League.
Ashley would have to part with a seven-figure sum if Newcastle changed managers now, And you are clearly not interested in parting with any compensation money at this point.
In other news, this is how Alan Shearer reacted to Fulham’s win at the weekend as Newcastle moved closer to relegation.
