Manchester United shattered visiting Leeds at Old Trafford in a 6-2 win, with the first two goals in three minutes.
McTominay scored both, the first double in the competition, as it turned into a dominant solo display.
The Scottish international also assisted Daniel James for the fifth goal in one of three chances created, while covering 10.8 kilometers, the third most among Man United players, and weighed defensively with five clearances.
