According to a recent report by Calciomercato, Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has been offered to Roma.
During her stay in English football, Nemanja Matic has been known and recognized as a player with true integrity. At the same time, his efficiency as part of Manchester United’s first team has dropped quite markedly over the last few years.
It does not look like he will soon be near a starting XI spot, and as a result, he could easily be part of the emigration that is likely to take place during the summer’s upcoming transfer window.
If and when that happens, he could be partnered with a man he knows quite well – former United boss and current Roma manager Jose Mourinho.
We’ve seen a number of players make a successful stay with Roma this season, and although they may not be in the title, the pieces are in place so they can kick on for the next few seasons.
With a rejuvenated Matic in the middle of the park, their team could look quite different.
