Competition: Premier league
Market: Marcus Rashford will score at any time
Possibilities: 23/20 @ 888sport
In what is one of the Premier League’s most iconic rivalries, Manchester United host Leeds at an empty Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Starting with the hosts, while Manchester United may have seen relegation leaders Sheffield United put on a spirited display earlier in the week, the Reds managed to leave Bramall Lane with a 3-2 victory. Despite their exit from the Champions League earlier in the month, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have scored 16 striking points from their last six Premier League games. Knowing this weekend’s victory would see them return to the top four, the former champions will ask attacking talisman Marcus Rashford to extend his recent purple patch at Old Trafford. With a double against the Blades last time out, the English international has racked up four goals in his last five meetings across all formats and the 23-year-old will be sure to collect once again on Sunday.
As for the visitors, while they may have been late against Newcastle in the middle of the week, Leeds finally managed to leave Elland Road with what was a 5-2 roller coaster win at home. On the occasion of his return to the Premier League over the summer and already regarded as one of England’s must-see teams, head coach Marcelo Bielsa will now be desperate for his team to find some stability. Still finding himself struggling in the lower half of the table, the former Napoli manager will undoubtedly ask his squad to make some changes to the rear as well. In addition to sending a pair of strikes against the Magpies last time out, Leeds have sent at least a pair of strikes in five of their last seven high-level rebounding contests. With their problems highlighted by a 4-1 at the hands of Crystal Palace last month, the Whites could face another ordeal.
Bet: Marcus Rashford 23/20 to score anytime against Leeds in Sunday’s Premier League showdown @ 888 sport
