Manchester United star Paul Pogba said the Red Devils are ready for their clash at the top of the table against Liverpool after beating the defending champions atop the Premier League.
United top the Premier League table at this stage of the season for the first time since Alex Ferguson’s last season at the helm in 2012-13 following Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Burnley.
Pogba was the hero: his volley with 19 minutes remaining sent United three points clear of rival Liverpool before Sunday’s highly successful showdown at Anfield.
“It will be a beautiful game for everyone,” Pogba told BBC Sport, with five of his last seven Premier League goals away from home.
“A big game is coming, so let’s get ready.”

United controlled procedures away from Burnley and saw Harry Maguire’s goal in the first half disallowed for a foul.
But Pogba took the lead in the second half at Turf Moor, converting a cross from Marcus Rashford.
Rashford has been directly involved in 11 goals in his last 14 Premier League appearances (six goals and five assists) after delivering the first blow to Pogba.
