Manchester United are reportedly poised to offer Real Madrid 15 million euros (£ 13.68 million) for Lucas Vazquez in an attempt to provide regular right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka with much-needed coverage.

The 29-year-old Vázquez joined the Real Madrid youth squad in 2007 and, after making his debut with the absolute first team during the 2010-11 season, the Spaniard has played 218 games in all competitions.

The seasoned player who can operate as a right back but has recently reinvented himself as a very good right back has enjoyed great success in Madrid.

The 29-year-old has an impressive number of trophies comprising 11 major titles, including three from the Champions League.

However, despite spending 13 years with his childhood club, recent reports have suggested that the talented attacker might be ready for a shock move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to the Real Madrid media Central defense, Vazquez has become a shock transfer target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United.

The outlet claims that Solskjaer is willing to bring in the Real Madrid player in order to make the Spaniard part of his long-term project and at the same time provide the necessary coverage for Wan-Bissaka.

Central defense assures that the Red Devils are preparing to offer Real Madrid 15 million euros for Vázquez, whose contract also expires next summer.
