Manchester United are eager to make a move for Rapid Vienna star Yusuf Demir amid rival Real Madrid interest, according to reports.
Demir is among the most sought-after young players outside of the major European leagues. He has impressed in Austria since he made his senior debut in December 2019.
There have already been rumors about a move to a bigger club for the teenager. Man Utd are among the applicants for his signature.
That speculation has now resurfaced, with Central defense suggesting a transfer battle between United and Real Madrid over Demir’s signing.
Of the two clubs, United has the most interest. In fact, they have already opened talks with their representatives.
However, there has not yet been a formal offer to Rapid Vienna. However, if United reaffirms their interest, it shouldn’t cost them too much to attract Demir to England.
The report claims that Demir is available for just 10 million euros, with his club open for a summer sale. Demir is also willing to wait until the end of the season to evaluate his options.
You will probably have a variety of top-notch outfits. Barcelona were interested, but those ties have faded, with United now being the “most attentive” to their situation.
However, Madrid have joined them in the race, although for now they are only “in the background.”
However, if United makes an official offer, Madrid could launch with an offer of their own.

Demir is only under contract in Austria until 2022. So he could be in line for a big move in the summer of 2021, by which time he will be 18 years old.
The attacking midfielder hopes to have taken advantage of his promising start to the season. So far, he has registered four goals and two assists in 17 games this season.
He already has experience against Premier League rivals, having played Arsenal in the group stage of the Europa League.
Man Utd continues to focus on youth
Demir would apparently fit into United’s policy of focusing on signing younger players from around the world.
For example, they closed deals for Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo in the summer, with the latter completing his move in January.
United continue to be linked to more potential players, and it seems they are focusing on midfield.
For example, They have also been mentioned as suitors of Brest midfielder Romain Faivre, which is international with France U21.
The player failed to pass the grade in Monaco, but has since recovered. It has recently been claimed that United is closely monitoring their development.
It would indicate that the Premier League team remains determined not to miss out on tomorrow’s best talent, as it did with Jadon Sancho in the summer, for example.
