Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has predicted that we will eventually see the best of Anthony Martial, despite his current poor form.
The Frenchman has long seemed like a good player capable of moments of individual brilliance, but he’s also a frustrating player to watch for being so inconsistent.
Solskjaer, however, feels that Martial will be good for Man Utd if he continues to work hard, and the Norwegian tactician clearly rates his natural talent highly, saying his class is permanent.
“Do not [I’m not concerned by his form]. I know Anto is working hard to get back to where he was. And he will score goals ”, quotes Solskjaer in the Manchester evening news.
“His attitude is very good. The form is sometimes temporary but the class is permanent.
“The boy has class, so when he works hard, we know that in the end he will come out with good performances.”
United fans will hope to see the best of Martial again soon, but he’s far from the only underperforming on this side of the MUFC right now.
Goals have dried up for Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood this season as well, and it’s important that all members of those three forwards contribute more to the team.
At the moment, it has been Bruno Fernandes and even Scott McTominay who have scored a large part of United’s goals, and that is probably not sustainable.
