Liverpool led his official website to announce the news, while adding that the club’s official fan trust, Spirit of Shankly, will be in charge of running the board.

“The development follows a series of recent meetings with Liverpool’s official supporters trust, Spirit of Shankly, and will see the creation of a new engagement model that allows for more in-depth consultation with supporters on strategic decisions in the face of supporters. fans.

“The Fan Board will be launched before the new season and will be made up of a group of fans representing the club’s diverse fan base. Liverpool’s Official Fan Trust will be responsible for running the Fan Board and will be in contact with its affiliated groups and the broader fan base to ensure such representation is achieved.

“The Fans Board will hold regular meetings with the club and the president will be invited to attend Liverpool main board meetings when strategic fan-related issues arise.”

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan revealed that there is still a long way to go before the Fan Board is finalized, although he hopes the proposal will demonstrate the club’s commitment to its fans.
