According to the club, Liverpool are interested in signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona in the January transfer window Goal. Barcelona want to relieve the former Liverpool attacking midfielder, and the Brazilian national team player is even keen to return to England.
Coutinho was a great success during his stay in Liverpool. Although things have not worked out for the 29-year-old in Barcelona, he remains a very good player who would make Villa better and stronger in the attacking midfield.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp worked with Coutinho at Anfield and has previously talked a lot about the Brazilian.
