Leeds may celebrate Christmas ahead of time with a great result at Manchester United, while final 2020 Premier League predictions point Chelsea back on the winning track, but Tottenham will suffer a costly home loss to Leicester .
Each week our writers take on a different band or artist when making their Premier League predictions, while you can join in on the fun using the story commentary feature (below) or Your Say forum.
This week’s challenger is drummer Charlie Forbes of London punks Shame. Can the great Liverpool fan, the single from whose band ‘Water in the well’ available now – get the best of our Marshy?
Last time, J from the band Afflecks Palace faced us, you can see how they fared right here.

TEAMtalk: How did you come to support Liverpool and what are your favorite memories from your time as a fan?
Charlie: Due to some hostilities between my beloved United father and me when I was 7 years old, I decided to choose to support the team that would annoy him the most: Liverpool. My favorite memories are Gerrard’s late draw against West Ham in the FA Cup final and most recently Curtis Jones’s scream against Everton.
TEAMtalk: Who have been your five favorite players in your club? (Historically or currently)
Charlie: Dirk Kuyt, Andy Robertson, Sami Hyypia, John Barnes, Steven Gerrard
Liverpool in dreamland under Klopp
TEAMtalk: What do you think of the current team? What are your hopes for the season?
Charlie: I have no words for this current Liverpool! We have world class players in all positions, insane mentality, probably the best coach in the world at the moment. Lucky to see these guys week after week. Hopefully we don’t have any more injuries this season.
TEAMtalk: Everyone has a soft spot for another team. Who is yours and why?
Charlie: Crystal Palace, the closest team to where I grew up in West Norwood. Some of the first football games I attended were at Selhurst Park. And how not to love Roy Hodgson, what a hero.
TEAMtalk: What’s going on with the band right now?
Charlie: Financial despair! Luckily our new album Drunk Tank Pink is out on January 15th, so hopefully thanks will make us a few pennies.
The shame is on social media – follow them!
