Harry Kane and Son Heung-min continued their prolific partnership when Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-0 in the North London derby.
Tottenham were able to welcome 2,000 fans to their stadium for the first time since closing. It wasn’t long until they had something to be happy about.
The Spurs took the lead in the 13th minute after another combination between Kane and Son. The forward, with his back to the goal in his own field, tapped to keep the ball clear of the opponent before throwing it wide at his teammate at the corner.
Son charged forward into Arsenal’s defense, before stepping in and sending a shot from outside the box into the far corner of Bernd Leno’s goal. He raised the South Korean forward’s 10th goal in the league this season, in just his 11th game.

The roles were reversed when Tottenham doubled their lead just before the break. Lunging forward on a counterattack, the Spurs found themselves four on two.
This time, it was Son who groomed Kane, before the forward crashed home from close range to become the all-time top scorer in North London derby history.
250 and 100: Harry Kane’s goal against Arsenal was the 250th goal of his professional career for clubs and countries (202 for Spurs, 32 for England, 9 for Millwall, 5 for Leyton Orient, 2 for Leicester) and the 100 at home for Tottenham in all competitions. . Milestones. pic.twitter.com/wSMeWMeBEg

Arsenal fail to make the most of possession
There was a blow to Arsenal in preparation for the goal, as Thomas Partey stopped injured. He had to leave at halftime, as Dani Ceballos replaced him.
Ceballos helped Arsenal show more composure in possession towards the start of the second half. However, the Gunners were still struggling to put Hugo Lloris to the test.
However, when they did, the Tottenham goalkeeper lived up to their efforts to beat him. Arsenal had their best chance yet in the 67th minute, but Lloris cleared a header from Alexandre Lacazette.
Barely venturing forward in the second half, a determined Spurs held on to all three to return to the top of the Premier League table.
