Tottenham Hotspur manager José Mourinho has confirmed that Harry Winks will not leave the club.
Speaking to the media ahead of Spurs ‘reorganized match against Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday, the Portuguese was adamant about Winks’ future.
The midfielder has been linked to a loan to Valencia, but Mourinho says it remains part of his plans.
“What do I have to say to end this talk?” Mourinho said. “I already said it is not going anywhere. When I say it’s not going anywhere, what else do you want me to say?
“He played the last games. He did not play last because it was an opportunity to give minutes to players like Gedson (Fernandes).
“Tomorrow he will be selected again. If someone is talking to other clubs, I would tell them not to waste time.”

While Winks has failed to fully establish himself with Mourinho, he remains an important part of the first team roster.
The 24-year-old has made 16 appearances in all competitions this season and will undoubtedly continue to feature throughout the second half of the campaign.
The England midfielder will be looking forward to more playing time with the European Championship on the horizon, but he faces a lot of competition for a starting spot at Spurs.
It looks like Winks will have to be patient at this point, with Mourinho sensibly reluctant to weaken his squad as the Spurs continue their bet for silverware.
