The Cavs made progress with the Kevin Love buyout, so far
The Green Bay Packers will give backup quarterback Jordan Love a long look at the Buffalo Bills Saturday afternoon.
After barely seeing Jordan Love last year or this summer, the masses were getting a very good look at the previous election in the first round.
Love will reportedly play into the third quarter against the Buffalo Bills in the Green Bay Packers’ third and final game of the season. Afterwards, love is likely to sting, but occasionally blow it up until 2022, while Aaron Rodgers completes his two-year, meticulous revenge tour.
Jordan Love gets his biggest chance to shine this preseason for the Packers
For Love, this is a good opportunity to show Packers fans that all is not lost if Rodgers and the team decide to part ways from March. Green Bay famously moved up to pick Love in the 2020 Draft and took him out of Utah State. Due to COVID, the love was limited to only second-team representatives in the training camp with pre-season matches canceled. In the regular season, the rookie did not appear a single time.
While Packers fans are undoubtedly excited to see Love’s development, head coach Matt LaFleur should be thrilled. If Love plays well, it gives both LaFleur confidence in the future, while knowing that if Rodgers were to miss any time due to injury, Green Bay is not sunk in the NFC playoff hunt.
For now, though, love gets a long look before putting on a headset for the next five months.
