Nebraska loss to Illini has Scott Frost on Twitter’s hot seat
The Green Bay Packers got a good look at Jordan Love in their last preseason game with a lot of positives and some worrying negatives.
The Packers fell to 0-3 in the preseason with a 19-0 loss against the Bills on the final weekend of the preseason.
No one likes to lose, but the outing was still useful as Green Bay continues to find out if Jordan Love is the quarterback of the future.
Love played inbound and finished with 149 yards on 12-of-18 passes. He also rushed 16 yards on three carries.
Jordan Love was a little bit good and a little bit bad against the bills
It was a bit of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde performance. He proved he could move the offense and make some excellent plays.
He also failed to lead a touchdown drive and threw a terrible endzone interception.
Basically, Love must remember that he is not Aaron Rodgers.
He must also work on his calm under pressure.
When it comes down to it, Love looked like a young quarterback. He was a little good and a little bad.
Overall, the pre-season has been more positive than negative.
The problem for Love and the Packers comes down to time. They do not have much of it. Aaron Rodgers is likely to be out at the end of this season. The plan may be to convince him to keep going, but that’s not something they can tackle. They need love to be ready.
Has Love proved this preseason that he can lead an NFL team? He is not that far from being at that level.
Has Love shown he can keep the Packers in the title race if he were to take over in 2022? So much is very uncertain.
